The Biting Skull
The Biting Skull is a fictional tavern and safe haven for monster-kind exclusively in the world I have created. It is run by a shape shifting Hollow Head named Ezra Grayson. Hollow Heads are completely black creatures with skull faces and various bone accents on their bodies.
I used the Biting Skull for two projects of mine: A menu design suite and a landing page.
The design objective for these were to create something that felt rustic and old, a medieval tavern aesthetic if you will. While the tavern can appear anywhere anytime, it still keeps that Middle Earth fantasy bar feel to it. I wanted to show that through the menu and landing page, using mostly browns and golds with some black.
